For the past 40 years, I have worked as a psychotherapist and life coach in Australia and America, teaching personal development and counseling individuals, couples, and families. I was Director of a Family Therapy Program in Sydney, Australia, and later worked with the Family Institute at Northwestern University.
Throughout my life, I have been committed to ongoing personal growth and believe that no one is broken. The only thing that is wrong is what we’ve been taught to think and believe about ourselves which stops us from living a life of love. I also believe in the power of the individual to connect with their inner GPS and rewrite their personal stories.
Using the concept of the hero/heroine’s journey, I empower clients to discover thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns that create anxiety, depression, or relationship problems and then shift their problems and pain into opportunities for healing and growth.
Having grown up in a household with domestic violence and family dysfunction, I am committed to my own personal growth. I draw upon my own challenges and professional experience to offer a roadmap for clients to find a way home to love and inner peace.
A licensed clinical social worker, I live in Southern California where I write, speak, counsel clients, and conduct seminars on personal growth. I am the proud father of 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
